Sydney’s Best Dressed 2024 took place last Sunday at 5 PM at the prestigious five-star venue Sir Stamford Plaza in Mascot. One of the highlights of the night was a stunning designer showcase by Lily Fekadu, the creative force behind Sareba Fashion, known for its Ethiopian traditional styles made in Ethiopia East Africa Ethnic Wear.

Founded by Maryrose Salubre, CEO of MS Entertainment Network, Sydney’s Best Dressed is produced by MS Entertainment Network and honours distinguished men and women for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the fashion industry. Each year, stylish individuals are celebrated and given the opportunity to strut their stuff on the runway. Over the years, the event has expanded to include a variety of categories, culminating in the annual Sydney’s Best Dressed Gala Awards Night.

This year, Sydney’s Best Dressed launched the Model of the Year competition, offering aspiring models a unique opportunity to kickstart their careers in the modelling and fashion industry. The contestants, Dannays, Tianna, Aylin, CJ, Laura, Grace, Fleur, and Saige, each brought their A-game to the runway, showcasing their talents and potential.

One of the night’s standout moments was when the contestants wore Sareba Fashion in one of the segments. The traditional Ethiopian styles, with their vibrant colours and intricate designs, looked fabulous on the aspiring models, highlighting both their individual beauty and the cultural richness of the garments. Lily Fekadu’s designs brought an element of global elegance to the event, making it a memorable showcase of fashion diversity.

Sydney’s Best Dressed 2024 was not just a celebration of fashion but also a platform for new talents to shine. With its continued dedication to honouring fashion excellence and promoting new talents, the event remains a significant highlight in Sydney’s social calendar. We look forward to seeing what next year’s event will bring and how these aspiring models will continue to grow in their careers.
