Australia is on the cusp of a new era in pageantry. This September, the spotlight will shine on nine extraordinary women as they compete for the coveted titles of Miss Earth Australia, Miss International Australia, and Miss Eco Australia at the inaugural Queens of Australia pageant. Far more than a competition, this moment signals a cultural shift—where advocacy, sustainability, and empowerment take centre stage alongside beauty and grace.

The 2025 line-up reads like a roll call of rising stars: Adriana Gravador, Parneet Kaur, Christine Mae Macayana, Tania Shackelton, Andrea Adrias, Kiki Begashaw, Alexa Roder, Jamie Boyd, and Bella Dela Cruz. Each contestant enters the competition with a distinct story, a refined sense of purpose, and a commitment to shaping conversations that extend beyond the runway. Together, they represent the evolving face of Australian queenship—dynamic, diverse, and unapologetically powerful.

The grand coronation night, set for 7 September 2025 at Sydney’s Bryan Brown Theatre, promises an evening of spectacle and significance. With VIP doors opening at 4:00 pm, guests will experience not just the pageantry of gowns and crowns, but a narrative woven around sustainability, harmony, and advocacy—the pillars of the Queens of Australia organisation.

The journey to the stage began with an orientation at Bankstown Sports Club, led by visionary director Marc Baylon. This was followed by a meticulously curated photo and video shoot, under the creative direction of Mike Ilagan and Dave Choo (StarCentral Magazine), with photography by Bob Reyes. The resulting images, poised to define the season, captured each delegate in her most authentic light—confident, modern, and unforgettable.

Preparation intensified with a training masterclass led by Susanna Downes, Miss Earth Australia 2019 and pageant manager, assisted by Sarah Tute, Miss Earth-Water Australia 2024. Their mentorship imparted not only stage presence but the deeper artistry of storytelling, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership.

The evening culminated in an elegant dinner at La Piazza, where the official sashing ceremony formally inducted the delegates into the Queens of Australia sisterhood. The much-anticipated crown reveal followed—a moment that crystallised the magnitude of what lies ahead.

The ceremony drew an illustrious guest list: Marc Baylon, Susanna Downes, Mike Ilagan, Dave Choo, and board members of Stargazer ProductionsJulieta De Leon, Mel Bustamante, and Vicky Chew. Adding to the night’s gravitas were past queens, including Helen Latukefu (Miss Earth Australia 2023), Monique Shippen (2018), Keisha Ann Nicole Tungol (Air 2024), Kajol Chand (Water 2023), and Sarah Tute herself. Their presence was more than ceremonial; it was symbolic of the legacy that these nine new contenders now inherit.

As the countdown to September continues, anticipation builds across the country. For the delegates, the crown is more than an emblem of beauty—it is a platform to ignite change, to represent Australia on the international stage, and to inspire the next generation of women.

Queens of Australia 2025 is not simply a pageant—it is the evolution of an institution. It is where beauty meets advocacy, and where the women of today redefine the queenship of tomorrow.
